Next Meeting: Holiday Bash – Dec. 5, 2022
Aside from the usual grazing and schmoozing that are typical of our annual GROS holiday “extravaganzas”, this year we’ll have hands-on potting and mounting of Dendrobium loddegesii and Tolumnia sylvestris seedling orchids!
There will be plenty divisions of each plant for members to pot or mount. Mounting and potting supplies will be provided. If you have a specific pot or mount you would like to use, please bring. There is no charge for members.
GROS to supply: Sheet Pizza – one veggie and one “TBA,”. bottled water, coffee, tea selection, sweeteners, creamers, spoons, forks, napkins, plates.
Members to bring: Hors d’oeuvres, cheese, crackers, chips, cookies, pies etc. Please note that no pork products or shellfish are permitted inside the JCC!
Example: Fran is bringing a tapas of whole black olives, black olive tapenade, Peloponnese kalamata olive spread and pita chips .
This month will also feature raffle plants donated by Alan Koch of Gold Country Orchids: Epidendrum porpax, Brassavola nodosa var. grandiflora, Oncidium Twinkle.
